Pay Breakdown
Figures shown are gross (pre-tax) pay based on the hours, days, and weeks you entered. Actual take-home pay will be lower after taxes and deductions.
How the Salary Calculator Works
This calculator converts any pay rate into an equivalent annual salary, then derives all other pay periods from that annual figure using your specified work schedule.
Formula
Daily = Annual / (Days/Week × Weeks/Year)
Weekly = Annual / Weeks/Year
Biweekly = Weekly × 2
Monthly = Annual / 12
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this gross or net pay?
This calculator shows gross pay — the amount earned before taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and other deductions are subtracted.
How do I convert an hourly wage to annual salary?
Multiply your hourly rate by the number of hours you work per week, then by the number of weeks you work per year. For a standard 40-hour, 52-week schedule, multiply by 2,080.
Why does changing weeks per year matter?
If you take unpaid time off or work a seasonal schedule, entering fewer weeks per year gives a more accurate annual salary estimate.
